No, I didn't have this usage in mind at all when I was tinkering with it. It was originally for my energon prod, the power core has been behaving erratically since it was broken, and it's not as though I can just swap it out for a new one in this place.

The basal code block there was an attempt to create a positive charge loop, essentially "healing" itself over time. Clearly it didn't work, but the core calculations are fine. For your port, it should create a sub circuit, allowing the excess energy to cycle over on itself, preventing the charge build up and therefore the overheating, which was leading to the burns.

[ A short pause, then: ]

In other words, since the port isn't turned off, this will mobius loop the energy to keep it "cool". Essentially I'm installing a code-based radiator in you.
